Trials and Faith
#1
James 1:2-4, 'My brothers, you will always have your trials but, when they come, try to treat them as a happy privilege. You understand that your faith is only put to the test to make you patient, but patience too is to have its practical results so that you will become fully-developed, complete, with nothing missing.'

After awhile with dealing and experiencing trials, we should have learned to be grateful to God that He gives them to us for good reasons. No matter how painful or troubling some of these trials may be, we always come through them in the end. The most important part about going through a trial is did we learn what God's intention was for us?

In some cases, we don't have any idea why we are going through certain trials no matter how hard we seek the truth in them. Some of these trials may seem to drag on forever and to us at the time, lack understanding of what it's all about or what good could possibly come of it.

This is where, what the scripture says, 'that your faith is only put to the test to make you patient'. Sometimes it takes a great deal of patience to get through some of these trials and that is one way that we can build up our faith.
