Humility vs. Pride
#1
Humility feeds the soul and pride feeds the flesh. The flesh is corrupt and it will always be corrupt. That is why God allowed death, so that we don't live in sin forever. God originally created us as a living soul to live forever. But when Adam and Eve sinned, they brought death with them.

Thank God for Jesus Christ because He will prepare us and lead us back to God (if we let Him) to live forever. Once this flesh dies, our soul will be set free from this corrupt flesh body. We need to overcome the flesh and practice humility. God Bless You

Pride is what keeps us disconnected from God. Because of our selfish ways, we think more about ourselves than we do God and others. It always seems to be about what I want and not what someone else may need.

All sin is born from pride whether it be hate, anger, envy, greed, self-indulgence and so on. When we are humble, we think more about God, other people either by helping them or praying for them. We wind up thinking less of ourselves. Humility is a nice, peaceful place to be.

God Bless You
