Gratitude and Acceptance are two disciplines that we need to keep in mind and practice everyday in our spiritual walk with the Lord.
Gratitude
We need to be grateful for all the good things as well as the bad things that happen in our life. For instance, Thank God for what you have and pray to Him for the things that you need. Be grateful to God for His blessed Son Jesus Christ our Savior and His Holy Spirit. Always give God the glory for all your blessings and He will give you more.
Acceptance
In your tests and trials, you may find these difficult and/or tough to deal with. Don't get discouraged because with patience and faith, you will overcome them. You may have to suffer through them from time to time, but they will build up your strength and pretty soon they won't feel all that difficult to deal with.
Always look for a positive to come from them. Analyze them thoroughly and build up your awareness level. Never worry or fear the things that look bad. Keep your hope, faith and trust in God.
