People have different opinions on “Who is God”. The ones that say that God is cruel will go to the Old Testament and cite passages like, when God flooded the world and all those innocent children were drowned. How about when He had the Israelites conquer nations and kill everyone in those nations and destroy all their idols. God has a purpose for everything that He does, you just have to look for it. No Comments » November 21st, 2010 John P God gave us free will to chose to love Him or rebel against Him. What it means to rebel against God is to basically give in to our pride and choose the things that are an abomination to God.
When we choose our will over God’s will we travel on the road to self-destruction that leads us into the darkness, but when we choose God’s will we travel on the road that leads us into the Light which is eternal life and true peace which can only be found in God’s love. (more…)

In the book of Samuel which took place over 4000 years ago, God warned us about government. Yet, man still hasn’t learned about the dangers of having a government or a person that hasn’t been appointed by God to lead a nation. God explained to Israel exactly what would happen if they chose to go this route. (more…)

Even though it is written in the Old Testament and at the time when God was talking to Israel and His wife who He refers to is Jerusalem. The United States and England has to understand that they are sister nations of Israel and that God has blessed them. (more…)

Sin had caused them to lose that spiritual bond they had with God. When they were living a spiritual life, death had no hold on them. It wasn’t until they sinned that death would come upon them.
God allows death to the flesh so man won’t live forever in the misery of sin. Would there sin cause them to lose life after death? (more…)

We feel a void, emptiness inside that can’t be filled by the things of the world or any person’s companionship.

Idols are things that we see or actually don’t see (because of our blindness) as normal everyday objects that are a part of our daily lives. People idolize different things in different ways. Man seems to be so blind as to the obvious. The signs are right before our eyes and yet generation after generation fails to see them and/or yield to them.
