John P Jesus Conquered the World – We Can Too
Conquered the World
Jesus was telling His disciples about what was coming up soon. He was trying to reassure them that He would be coming back to them after His death.
Jesus says to His disciples in John 16:33, ‘ I have told you all this so that you may find peace in Me. In the world you will have trouble, but be brave: I have conquered the world.’
The peace that Jesus is talking about comes from within, but can only happen if you follow Him. Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life’. Jesus will bring us to that inner peace by helping us to conquer the world and ourselves. It will take a lot of work and sacrifices on our part. (more…)
