What The Word Fruits Mean In The Bible
#1
These are the bad fruits that are listed in Galatians 5:19-21, 'When self-indulgence is at work the results are obvious: fornication, gross indecency and sexual irresponsibility; idolatry and sorcery; feuds and wrangling; jealousy, bad temper and quarrels; disagreements, factions, envy; drunkenness, orgies and similar things.

I warn you now, as I warned you before: those that behave like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.' These are the fruits that keep us disconnected from God. This is what caused the fall of Adam and Eve, not eating an apple.

These are the Good Fruits that we need to acquire in order to make that union with God: Galatians 5:22, 'What the Spirit brings is very different: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustfulness, gentleness and self-control. Take on the Good Fruits and you will find true peace, happiness, joy and freedom from the bondages of this world.'

God Bless You

There are other words in the Holy Bible that are used like "Fruits" that have indirect meanings than what we are accustomed to like, sober, drunkenness, orgies and so on. For instance, "drunkenness" could mean not practicing moderation. It's good to study the scriptures in there entirely so that you get the full meaning of what the scripture is trying to tell you. It helps if you use a concordance studying your bible.
