The Cleansing of the Temple
#1
When Jesus saw the corruption that was going on in the temple of God, He went about ridding the sanctuary of all those people who were committing sins against God. (John 2:13-17)

Our bodies are temples because they house our soul. By human nature, we corrupt our souls with all kinds sins that are abominations in the eyes of God. We need Jesus Christ to teach us what we need to do to cleanse our temples (Read Galatians 5:19-23).

Once we do this, we can receive the Holy Spirit which will connect us to God. We can't be unholy and holy at the same time, it's one or the other. Call on Jesus and let Him show you the Way.

We need all the help we can get to clean our temple and keep it that way. It's in our human nature to sin and seek the pleasures and desires of the world. By faith we can overcome sin and the world and keep our flesh in the dark and out of control.

Worries, Fears and Doubts cause us to lose our faith and go right back to sinning again. We lose our trust in God and end up causing ourselves a great deal of grief. We also could and probably do so, lose our peace and freedom from being a slave to the world.
