I Trust God Only

God the Almighty

God the Almighty – Isaiah 40:25-26, ‘To whom could you liken me and who could be my equal?’ says the Holy One. Lift your eyes and look. Who made these stars if not he who drills them like an army, calling each one by name? So mighty is his power, so great his strength, that not one fails to answer.’

Jeremiah 10:12, ‘By his power he made the earth, by his wisdom set the world firm, by his discernment spread out the heavens.’

Jeremiah 27:5, ‘I by my great power and outstretched arm made the earth, man and the animals that are on earth.’

God the Almighty – the Alpha and the Omega

Revelation 1:8, “I am the Alpha and the Omega” says the Lord God, who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

God calls out to anyone who could be equal to Him and no one can take Him up on it. God is the “Great I Am…” No one is equal to God and there will never be anyone who will be equal to God.

God Saves Us With His Power and Strength

Psalm 37:34-36, ‘Put your hope in Yahweh, keep his way, and he will save you from the wicked, raising you until you make the land your own and see the wicked expelled. I have seen the wicked in his triumph towering like a cedar of Lebanon, but when next I passed, he was not there, I looked for him and he was nowhere to be found.’

How marvelous will that be to see the wicked and the darkness expelled from your soul? All we need to do is give our will over to God, make that one on one relationship with Jesus and follow Him.

Give up our desires and pleasures of the world and become detached from he anxieties that the world brings us. We need to confess our sins and be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Then when God looks and He does not see him, He will bless us with joy and happiness. The triumph of the wicked was overcome by the power of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

We Are All Sinners

Romans 3:23, ‘Both Jew and pagan sinned and forfeited God’s glory,’

We all sinned and therefore, come up short of God’s glory. Now, how can anyone claim to be God or like God or even claim to be a god? You are being lied to by anyone who changes the Word of God in any way and believes in their own doctrine. They can’t save you, they don’t have the power of God to do so. Blessed be God the Almighty

The Power of Jesus to Destroy All Evil and Wickedness

Matthew 10:1, ‘He summoned his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits with power to cast them out and to cure all kinds of diseases and sickness.’

Matthew 24:30, ‘And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven; then too all the peoples of the earth will beat their breasts; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.’

Jesus was sending out the twelve Apostles and He gave them power to exorcise evil spirits from those that were possessed. He also gave them authority over them to cast them into the pit if they did not obey them.

In the end time when Jesus returns, He will be coming with power to destroy the nations that have joined together to destroy Israel. Jesus will return when God the almighty tells Him to go get your bride.

After Being Baptized With the Holy Spirit

Luke 4:14-15, ‘Jesus, with the power of the Holy Spirit in him, returned to Galilee; and his reputation spread throughout the countryside. He taught in their synagogues and everyone praised him.’

After being baptized with the Holy Spirit Jesus was given many of the gifts that the Spirit brings. He was able to teach God’s Word with power and authority and He was able to heal people. Blessed be God the Almighty.

Don’t Reject the Invitation to Salvation

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12, ‘The reason why God is sending a power to delude them and make them believe what is untrue is to condemn all who refused to believe in the truth and chose wickedness instead.’

2 Timothy 3:5, ‘They will keep up the outward appearance of religion but will have rejected the inner power of it. Have nothing to do with people like that.’

This is what happens to those that reject the invitation to find eternal life with God the almighty through His blessed Son, Jesus Christ who died on the cross for all mankind. God is offering a way out of a life that is being governed by the world that only knows death and into a life that one will not die. All you have to do is accept His invitation, turn your life over to God the almighty and believe in His Son, Jesus Christ.

There are many of those out there that by their knowledge of truth make themselves look and act like Christians. They do this to gain popularity and end up deceiving people into thinking they are holy when actually they are nothing more than dead on the inside. They do not have the experience and understanding of truth and therefore are empty vessels and have not the Holy Spirit of God the almighty to guide them.

Royal Power and Royal Authority

Revelation 17:12-13, ‘The ten horns are ten kings who have not yet been given their royal power but will have royal authority only for a single hour and in association with the beast. They are all of one mind in putting their strength and their powers at the beast’s disposal.’

“Royal Power has the ability to influence others. Royal Authority is given the right to influence the character, development, or behavior of someone or something.”

False Teachers – Your Wizards and Fortune Tellers Can’t Save You

Isaiah 47:13-15, ‘You have spent weary hours with your many advisers. Let them come forward now and save you, these who analyze the heavens, who study the stars and announce month by month what will happen to you next. Oh, they will be like wisps of straw and the fire will burn them.

They will not save their lives from the power of the flame. No embers these, for baking, no fireside to sit by. This is what your wizards will be for you, those men for whom you have worn yourself out since your youth. They will all go off, each his own way, powerless to save you.’

Revelation 21:8, ‘But the legacy for cowards, for those who break their word, or worship obscenities, for murderers and fornicators, and for “fortune-tellers”, idolaters or any other sort of “liars”, is the second death in the burning Lake of Sulphur.’

God warns those that believe in these people who claim they can speak to or conjure up the spirit of a loved one. Also, the ones that use tarot cards, crystal balls, Ouija boards and so on. There are others who tell you that you are a god. If you continue on like this and as God says, ‘You will be burning in the flames when you recognize the real truth.

Save yourself while you can. Only God can save you, not some spiritualist, or wizard or even a medium. It’s your choice and time is short.

Power We Have – Don’t Ignore a Chance to Perform an Act of Kindness

Proverbs 3:27, ‘Do not refuse a kindness to anyone who begs it, if it is in your power to perform it.’

There are times that we have the power to perform an act of kindness for our fellowman and do it. Then, there are times that we can, but come up with an excuse not to do it because we don’t feel like it or other circumstances. Other times we do have a legitimate excuse that will pardon us from performing an act of kindness.

If you can perform an act of kindness you will be blessed for it either here or after we die. Not only will we be blessed for it, but we grow in our love for our fellowman. This is the power of loving one another when you take the time to help others.

God Gives Us Power and Strength

Psalm 68:35, ‘God in his sanctuary is greatly to be feared. He, the God of Israel, gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God.’

The Fruits of Our Tongue

Proverbs 18:21, ‘Death and life are in the gift (power) of the tongue, those who indulge it must eat the fruit it yields.’

Bad Fruits = Sins and Good Fruits = Virtues

Our tongue operates from two trees, one that yields bad fruits (Death) and one that yields good fruits (Life). The tree that yields bad fruits is the tree of “Pride”. Pride brings darkness to the soul, especially when the tongue is involved. The tree that yields good fruits brings Light to our soul.

How We Prove We Are God’s Servants

Ephesians 1:18-21, ‘May he enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you, what rich glories he has promised the saints will inherit and how infinitely great is the power that he has exercised for us believers.

This you can tell from the strength of his power at work in Christ, when he used it to raise him from the dead and to make him sit at his right hand, in heaven, far above every Sovereignty, Authority, Power, or Domination, or any other name that can be named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.’

2 Corinthians 6:6-7, ‘We prove we are God’s servants by our purity, knowledge, patience and kindness; by a spirit of holiness, by a love free from affectation; by the word of truth and by the power of God; by being armed with the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left.’

We Need to Grow Strong in the Lord

Ephesians 6:10-12, ‘Finally, grow strong in the Lord, with the strength of his power. Put God’s armor on so as to be able to resist the devil’s tactics. For it is not against human enemies that we have to struggle, but against the Sovereignties and the Powers who originate the darkness in this world, the spiritual army of evil in the heavens.’

Colossians 1:11, ‘You will have in you the strength, based on his own glorious power, never to give in, but to bear anything joyfully, thanking the Father who has made it possible for you to join the saints and with them to inherit the light.’

We will have the glorious power of God in us to overcome the evil one and all the wickedness that is in this world. May the power of truth give us the strength to fight off all evil and endure all tests, trials and hardships. Glory be to God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever, Amen.

Blessed With the Grace of God

1 Thessalonians 1:4-5, ‘We know, brothers, that God loves you and that you have been chosen, because when we brought the Good News to you, it came to you not only as words, but as power and as the Holy Spirit and as utter conviction.

When I repented and made a commitment to Jesus, I felt His power and Spirit fill the void of emptiness in me and my loneliness was gone. The darkness disappeared within me as I was filled with the Light of Jesus. Turning my life around and accepting Jesus gave me a whole new outlook on life, a life that will never end. Blessed be God the Almighty.

A Gift From God

2 Timothy 1:7, ‘God’s gift was not a spirit of timidity, but the Spirit of power, and love, and self-control.’

The Spirit of Power (the Holy Spirit) who will guide you, teach you and help keep you safe in times when you are under attack or you are about to fall from lets say, “temptation” for instance.

The Divine Love that comes from God the almighty is a Love that is pure and full of power. This Love can conquer all evil and wickedness. It is a Love that is necessary to have in order to keep the commandments of God.

Self-control will help keep us from abusing the things that our senses and the flesh desire and seek pleasure in. It will help us to practice moderation while using the things we need in life like food for instance.

The Power of the Tongue

The power of the tongue can cause hate in a person when they use it in such a manner to cause harm to the person or persons they are addressing. They mock people, put people down, lie about people’s character to others, get a person in trouble by informing on them for your own personal gain. Gossiping is another bad form of pride.

The tongue can be a very dangerous tool, look at what happened to Jesus. Jesus was the most innocent man that ever lived on this earth. Jesus came to pave the way back to God for us. You see what the majority of the people did to Him just by the hateful words that came out of their mouth’s that they used against Him to bring His death. Those words they used caused the brutal death of an innocent man who came to save them from eternal condemnation.

Jesus Died Because of the Tongue of Others

Jesus was filled with the divine love of God, the Father. Jesus loved everyone including His enemies by forgiving them while hanging on the cross. He spoke kindly to one another and He rebuked those that needed to be corrected.

There are times when we shouldn’t inform on people and this is something you should think about. God does not like certain informers. Just as we point the finger at someone, we have three fingers pointing back at us.

The tongue can be use for all kinds of kind, loving motives. We can spread the word about the kingdom of God and Jesus our Savior. There are many ways we can speak kindly about others and use our tongue in a positive way as long as we keep our pride out of the way. Think before you speak.

Pass the Word of God on to Those of the Rising Generation

Psalm 71:18-19, ‘Now that I am old and grey, God, do not desert me; let me live to tell the rising generation about your strength and power, about your heavenly righteousness, God. You have done great things; who, God, is comparable to you?

God the almighty, I know that our lives are safely in your hands and that by your love and power you decide how many days we have to live here on this earth and I am grateful for each day that you give me. Help me please to prosper in each day that you give me to help those that need prayer or your word so that they will find repentance and salvation with you through your blessed Son, Jesus Christ our Savior.

Seek God’s Peace and Freedom From His Grace

Psalm 90:9-11, ‘Our days dwindle under your wrath, our lives are over in a breath—our life lasts for seventy years, eighty with good health, but they all add up to anxiety and trouble—over in a trice, and then we are gone. Who yet has felt the full force of your fury, or learnt to fear the violence of your rage.’

Thank you God for your blessed Son, Jesus Christ who brought us the “Good News” and taught us the Way to get reconnected to you Father God. Thankyou Jesus for teaching us Truth and how to overcome the darkness that plagues us. Thankyou God for your Grace and Power to rebuke the evil one who brings death. Thankyou Jesus for giving up your life and dying on the cross for us so that death could be conquered and that you could be resurrected.

More About Who God Is

Psalm 147:4-5, ‘He decides the number of the stars and gives each of them a name; our Lord is great, all-powerful, of infinite understanding.’

Daniel 6:26-27, ‘He is the living God, he endures for ever, his sovereignty will never be destroyed and his kingship never end. He saves, sets free, and works signs and wonders in the heavens and on earth; he has saved Daniel from the power of the lions.’

Habakkuk 3:4, ‘His brightness is like the day, rays flash from his hands, that is where his power lies hidden.’

God reveals Himself in the bible and in His creation. He shows how great His love is for us in all the things that He does. This is only the beginning, can you imagine what He has waiting for us in heaven? We don’t even have the years to see all of God’s marvelous creation on this earth let alone the universe.

The Resurrection of Us All “Power of the Resurrection”

Philippians 3:10, ‘All I want is to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and to share his sufferings by reproducing the pattern of his death.’

1 Corinthians 6:14, ‘God, who raised the Lord from the dead, will by his power raise us up too.’

There will be two resurrections for us. According to the bible, some of us will be resurrected during the second coming of Jesus or after the millennium period. Those that are resurrected at the second coming will enter into heaven and be rewarded.

Those that are resurrected after the millennium period will go through the great white throne judgement. For those that do, if their name is not in the book of life, they will be sentenced to the lake of fire which is called the second death.

1 Corinthians 15:20-26, ‘But Christ has in fact been raised from the dead, the first-fruits of all who have fallen asleep. Death came through one man and in the same way the resurrection of the dead has come through one man. Just as all men die in Adam, so all men will be brought to life in Christ; but all of them in their proper order: Christ as the first-fruits and then, after the coming of Christ, those who belong to him.

After that will come the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, having done away with every sovereignty, authority and power. For he must be king until he has put all his enemies under his feet and the last of the enemies to be destroyed is death, for everything is to be put under his feet.’

Glory to God in His Majesty, Power and Authority

Jude 25, ‘To God, the only God, who saves us through Jesus Christ our Lord, be the glory, majesty, authority and power, which he had before time began, now and for ever. Amen.’

Glory and Power Be to God For Ever and Ever

Ephesians 3:20-21, ‘Glory be to him whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine; glory be to him from generation to generation in the Church and in Christ Jesus for ever and ever. Amen.’
